Ken's career began at sea. After Millfield School and a degree in Business Administration at the University of the West of England, he spent four years crewing motor yachts of 50 to 80 metres, working across the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Pacific and both coasts of the United States. As bosun he was responsible for the deck team, with duties running from bridge watchkeeping and guest care to helicopter operations, skippering custom tenders of eight to twelve metres, and keeping vessels to the standard that end of the market expects.

He came ashore in 2016, joining Blackrock Yachting at Chichester Marina - a Jeanneau main dealer for sail and power, and a retailer of BRIG RIBs. It was a fully integrated role: guiding new-yacht buyers from first enquiry through negotiation, commissioning and handover, while handling owners' listings on the brokerage side, skippering sea trials and working through survey negotiations to conclude sales.
In January 2022 he joined Princess Motor Yacht Sales at Swanwick as a broker for Princess Brokerage International, bringing yachts to market and transacting on behalf of clients throughout the UK and Europe. He also retails new Princess yachts.
That combination of seagoing experience and dealer-side knowledge shows in the way he works. He knows how a boat has been treated, what a survey is likely to turn up, and what a yacht is honestly worth.
