Princess Yachts to make a Big Splash at the Southampton Boat Show

* New Location On Land & Marina – Stand E56 / Berths M491 – M502 *

16 – 25 September 2011

Princess Motor Yacht Sales are set for another impactful Southampton Boat Show this September with the World Premiere of the 98 Motor Yacht and the Princess 60, the first UK showing of the new V72 Sports Yacht and the unveiling of a brand new show location, both on and off the water.

The company will occupy a new prime position on the waterfront in Mayflower Park featuring an impressive hospitality suite over two levels and affording views across the marina to their boats afloat display, which has also been relocated in order to be closer to the main Princess stand.

One of two World Premiers at the show for the company, the new 98 Motor Yacht will also provide a showcase for the brand’s interior design expertise and, through its unique ownership, its close relationship with some of the World’s most luxurious fashion houses and fellow LVMH brands. The first 98 has been styled in conjunction with Fendi Casa and includes a wealth of furniture, fabrics, detailing and floor coverings from the Italian design house throughout her spacious interior. This sleek an delegant yacht is designed for long range cruising, accommodating up to 10 guests in refined and elegant luxury with a choice of 4 or 5 staterooms. From the vast flybridge to the walk-through foredeck seating area, her exterior spaces have been designed with entertaining in mind and the large submersible bathing platform, jet-ski transom garage and tender stowage on the flybridge make watersports a real pleasure.

The new Princess 60 will also make her debut on the world stage at Southampton. With a sleek and dynamic profile and a performance to match she is astonishingly spacious within. Her agile handling, quick acceleration and fast transition to planing speeds mean she performs like a sport cruiser yet her expansive light-filled saloon and three well proportioned, beautifully detailed en-suite cabins suggest a vessel of a much larger scale. The main deck features an aft seating area with low level furniture, separate dining forward and a well equipped galley to starboard ensuring a highly sociable layout.

Appearing at a UK show for the first time will also be the new Princess V72, a truly spectacular sports yacht and perhaps one of the most exciting V Class models the company has produced to date. From her elegantly poised profile to the beautifully detailed and uniquely designed interior, she brings a new style to the V Class range that is contemporary and dynamic.

There will be a total 14 Princess craft on display at the show this September at two new locations bothon land and on the marina. Princess will also be operating the Platinum Ticket boats once again this year.
