Another prestigious award nomination for Princess yachts

The new Princess V48 Open has been nominated for European Powerboat of the Year 2014 in the over 45ft category. You can step on board by either watching the video of the V48 Open’s launch at Cannes or by taking a virtual tour of the boat.
The V48 Open, which made her international debut in September at the Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes, personifies hardtop sportscruiser cool, with its spacious open cockpit and vast electrically operated sunroof. Generous seating around a teak table and further seating forward, adjacent to the sculpted twin helm seats, create the perfect space to enjoy life on deck and when cruising at speed. Aft of the cockpit is a large sunbed positioned above the tender garage which can accommodate a 3.25m jet RIB. Below decks, the V48 Open provides flexible accommodation for up to 6 guests including a private lower saloon and luxurious full beam master cabin.
This boat has it all. Fitted with Volvo Penta’s IPS engines, the ride quality is electric, and coupled with the deep-V hull design unique to Princess yachts, delivers stellar performance, excellent sea keeping ability in addition to a highly efficient cruising rate for longer passages.
The winner of the European Powerboat of the Year will be announced on the opening night of boot Düsseldorf which takes place 18th – 26th January 2014.
