Position Overview

  1. To be the parts link to the service department

  2. To ensure that the customer/Internal departments requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of staff to achieve a high standard of customer satisfaction.

  3. To solely be responsible for all parts orders from the service department

  4. To provide parts technical support to all front-line employees

Detailed Responsibilities

  1. Ensure all service department parts orders are acted on in a timely manner

  2. Ensure regular updates of delivery times to service department for all ordered parts

  3. To use Smart sheet to enable the service department to track all ordered parts

  4. To pre-pick parts for the next day to increase technicians’ efficiency

  5. To cover for the parts manager in his absence

  6. To work with Aftersales Manager to reach parts targets

  7. To ensure any parts not used or required are sent back for credit in a timely manner

  8. To gain experience of retro parts products to help in the sales process

  9. To have input with stock levels with the Part Manager

  10. To have regular meeting with the Production Manager to look at advanced bookings

  11. To look at upsell opportunities with the sale of service retail parts

  12. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations in accordance with company policy
