Position Overview
To be the parts link to the service department
To ensure that the customer/Internal departments requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of staff to achieve a high standard of customer satisfaction.
To solely be responsible for all parts orders from the service department
To provide parts technical support to all front-line employees
Detailed Responsibilities
Ensure all service department parts orders are acted on in a timely manner
Ensure regular updates of delivery times to service department for all ordered parts
To use Smart sheet to enable the service department to track all ordered parts
To pre-pick parts for the next day to increase technicians’ efficiency
To cover for the parts manager in his absence
To work with Aftersales Manager to reach parts targets
To ensure any parts not used or required are sent back for credit in a timely manner
To gain experience of retro parts products to help in the sales process
To have input with stock levels with the Part Manager
To have regular meeting with the Production Manager to look at advanced bookings
To look at upsell opportunities with the sale of service retail parts
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations in accordance with company policy
