Project Chaser

The Progress Chaser will report directly to the Balearic General Sales Manager. The role is integral to ensuring the smooth coordination and delivery of yacht sales operations, acting as a key link between the Sales and Service departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fluent English is required. Proficiency in German and/or Spanish would be a strong advantage.

  • Proven administrative assistance capabilities

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Must be resident in Mallorca

Key responsibilities will include:

Yacht Logistics & Stock Management

  • Coordinate and oversee the unloading and arrival of new and stock boats into Mallorca.

  • Arrange suitable storage solutions for stock boats.

  • Assist with the arrangement of moorings for new yacht arrivals.

  • Manage and coordinate boat movements as required.

  • Notify UK Accounts and Administration of new boat arrivals and provide supporting photographs.

  • Conduct monthly stock boat inspections and confirm vessel locations.

Sales & Service Coordination

  • Act as the primary communication link between the Sales and Service departments.

  • Monitor and progress all sales-related service work to ensure completion within agreed timescales and to the required standard.

  • Follow up on warranty claims, maintenance items, and repair works to ensure timely resolution.

  • Liaise with the Swanwick Progress Chaser and UK teams, including Plymouth, to maintain seamless communication across the business.

Yacht Presentation & Quality Control

  • Oversee the care, maintenance, and presentation of all stock boats.

  • Conduct detailed audits of new and used stock vessels.

  • Inspect yachts prior to customer handover, identifying any defects or outstanding items and reporting them to the Service Department.

  • Serve as an additional quality control checkpoint to ensure vessels are presented to the highest standards.

  • Prepare yachts for customer viewings and events.

  • Ensure office displays and all interior and exterior yacht presentations are uncovered, clean, and maintained to the highest standard daily.

Customer Experience & Product Knowledge

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Princess yachts, their systems, and onboard equipment.

  • Participate in customer handovers, delivering a premium ownership experience.

  • Provide onboard tuition and familiarisation to customers on their new yachts.

  • Gather and share market intelligence and customer feedback gained through regular interaction with clients.

  • Assist the Sales Team with yacht demonstrations during busy periods.


Events & International Support

  • Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of events, both ashore and afloat.

  • Provide support to the Sales Team during international boat shows as required.

  • Work from other Argo offices and overseas locations when business needs dictate.

  • Safety, Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure all yachts carry the required safety equipment, including life rafts where applicable.

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory legislation, Health & Safety requirements, and Company policies and procedures
