Princess Proud Winners in the Motor Boat Awards
Donnerstag 11th Januar 2018
Princess were proud winners at the Motorboat Awards, held on 10th January 2018. Facing fierce competition in the Sportscruisers over 45ft category, the Princess 60 claimed first prize.
The model was launched at the London Boat Show early in 2017. She is the third model in the Princess S Class range, a unique range of motor yachts which combine the exhilarating speed of the S Class range, with flybridge functionality, in one sleek package.
The judges, who were a panel from the Motorboat and Yachting magazine’s expert editors, were clearly impressed;
“A category with some real variety but one boat stood out. With timeless style, effortless performance and a high quality, cleverly laid out interior”.
The award was presented to Princess Yachts’ Chris Gates and Annie Reid, who were delighted to receive this prestigious award.
The Motor Boat Awards are the only marine awards with the motor boat buyers’ best interests at heart. Hosted by Motor Boat & Yachting, and sponsored by Side-Power, the awards are judged on the boats’ design, ability and value for money in their chosen market place.
There are eight different boat awards in all, as well as the Service Award sponsored by Lombard and the Judges‘ Special Award. To arrive at their conclusions, the boats are subjected to a sea-trial, and put through their paces by a panel of technical experts.
