As the excitement mounts in preparation for the British Motor Yacht Show 2018, which takes place between Friday 16th and Sunday 20th May, we thought we’d take a look at last year’s event, and at some more of the world’s most prestigious international boat shows. If you’re anywhere near Spain, Germany or maybe the Channel Islands during Spring 2018 you’re in luck. If not, the best, most thrilling and varied British boat show yet awaits you in May. Here’s what you can expect.
The British Motor Yacht Show – Friday 18th to Sunday 20th May 2018
Premier Marinas Swanwick, Southampton is the venue for this year’s home-grown motor yacht extravaganza. The 2017 event was the best yet, showcasing the world’s greatest motor yacht brands in a hugely popular boutique pre-season event.
Last year we premiered the Princess 62 at the show, and the event is fast becoming the go-to show when we want to premiere our latest production models ahead of the big World Launch platforms of Cannes and Southampton.
This year’s British Motor Yacht Show is due to deliver the opportunity for serious buyers to explore the latest motor yachts, in the mellow atmosphere of Premier’s beautiful Swanwick Marina, the most attractive marina on the River Hamble. The show has an entirely different feel from most, being a lot more laid back, and the focus is firmly on the finest high-end British motor yachts.
There’ll be plenty of expertise on hand to answer your every question, which makes it a must if you’re considering investing in one of these absolutely magnificent craft. Meet Princess Yachts at Hanseboot Ancora, Germany, 25th – 27th May 2018
We’ll be attending the brilliant Hanseboot Ancora show in May, which takes place at the beautiful 5 star Ancora Marina, Neustadt-Holstein, Germany. It’s a three day extravaganza and Germany’s biggest in-water show displaying more than 140 stunning motor yachts and sailing boats. We have an office at the Marina, so are perfectly placed to meet the many German yachting enthusiasts who have expressed an interest in our motor yachts.
We’ll be showcasing the Princess V40, the ideal craft for exploring the lovely blue Mediterranean in style and comfort. A seriously desirable sports model, it delivers ultra responsive handling at speeds as high as 38 knots, combining high power with spacious living in superb quality accommodation. And this latest re-style also includes a new port light window, which lets the sunshine stream into every corner of the interior.

The alluring and ancient city of Palma is your host for the 35th Palma Boat Show, an inspirational event at which we will be showcasing six dazzling motor yachts including the star of the British Motor Yacht Show, our all-new Princess V65. The Princess 75, Princess 56, Princess 49, Princess V50, and Princess S72 are also on display.
We’re incredibly proud of the V65, with its refreshed and cleverly renewed features. First revealed at the prestigious Düsseldorf Boat Show in early 2018, it measures just short of sixty feet and delivers top quality en-suite accommodation for as many as eight guests. There are two Channel Islands Boat Shows in 2018, and we’ll be at both of them. The Guernsey Boat Show takes place between 27th and 29th April, and the Barclays Jersey Boat Show 2018 from Saturday 5th May to Monday 7th May 2018.
