Princess 49 Launched for Sea Trials
Monday 4th April 2016
Princess Yachts International has given us a first look at the new Princess 49 being put through her paces during initial sea trials off Plymouth.
Using the latest IPS propulsion system from Volvo Penta, the Princess development team took advantage of somewhat rare mild conditions for the UK in early Spring to capture the first photo opportunity of the new 49 afloat.
The most recent incarnation of the Princess modified deep-V hull offers strong acceleration and a very smooth transition to the plane. Top speeds in excess of 34 knots, a smooth, tight turning circle and confidence-inspiring handling suggest the new 49 will offer world-beating performance for flybridge yachts in this size range.
With class leading interior volume and performance to match, the 49’s official launch is eagerly awaited at the British Motor Yacht Show in May.
The show opens from 20th – 22nd May 2016 at Swanwick Marina, Southampton, Swanwick SO31 1ZL. If you would like to arrange a private viewing, call us on 01489 557755 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
